Why We Do Not Offer Full Cash on Delivery (COD)

At Iconik Canvas, our priority is to provide a smooth, secure, and hassle-free shopping experience for our customers. We offer multiple safe payment options including:

  • Credit & Debit Cards
  • UPI
  • Net Banking
  • Wallet Payments
  • Online Bank Transfers

However, we do not offer Full Cash on Delivery (COD).

This decision is made to protect both our customers and our business operations. Over time, COD has resulted in a high number of fraudulent or non-genuine orders within the e-commerce industry. Such instances cause significant financial losses due to shipping, manufacturing, and handling costs — especially for customized and made-to-order canvas artworks like ours.

Key Reasons for Not Offering Full COD:

  1. High Risk of Fraudulent Orders
     Fake or non-serious orders lead to cancellations at the time of delivery, resulting in heavy reverse logistics losses.

  2. Manufacturing Costs on Customized Products
     Most of our canvas artworks are specially printed and framed after order confirmation. Returned or rejected orders cannot always be resold.

  3. Delivery Delays & Failed Attempts
     COD orders often face delivery failures due to customer unavailability or insufficient funds at delivery.

  4. Additional Handling & Courier Charges
     COD includes extra charges such as cash handling fees and reverse shipping costs, which significantly increase operational expenses.

  5. Safety Concerns
     Cash handling increases risk factors for courier personnel.

For these reasons, we encourage secure online payments, which help us maintain product quality, fast processing, and competitive pricing for all our customers.


Partial COD & Return Policy

In select cases, we may offer Partial COD, where a small advance payment is required to confirm the order.

Please carefully note the following policies:

  • If a Partial COD order is not accepted, rejected, or undelivered due to customer unavailability, and the package is returned to our warehouse, the advance amount will not be refunded.

  • If the package is still at the courier facility, we will attempt re-delivery at no additional cost whenever possible.

  • If delivery failure occurs due to courier company fault, the responsibility lies with us, and the customer will not be charged.

  • If the package is returned to origin due to customer rejection or unavailability, an additional courier charge of ₹850 per item will be applicable to reship the product.
