Collection: Vastu Paintings and Wall Art

Vastu paintings from Iconik Canvas bring symbolic themes such as seven horses, waterfalls, peacocks, turtles, elephants and Shri Yantra to your walls on canvas. Choose a design for your living room, bedroom, home office or commercial space, with framed and unframed options on selected products. Each painting is chosen for imagery traditionally linked with Vastu Shastra, so you can match theme to room.

What Are Vastu Paintings?

Vastu paintings are canvas artworks whose subjects and placement follow guidance from Vastu Shastra, the traditional Indian system of spatial design. The term usually covers themes that Vastu practitioners commonly recommend for particular rooms or wall directions, such as seven running horses, waterfalls, peacocks, elephants, turtles and sacred symbols like the Shri Yantra.

At Iconik Canvas, this collection brings together vastu wall art in these themes for homes, offices and hospitality spaces. The artworks are digitally printed on canvas, and selected listings are offered as rolled canvas, stretched canvas or floater-framed pieces. Prices in the collection go up to ₹15,999. You may also see these artworks called vastu painting, vastu art, vastu wall painting or painting as per Vastu.

Vastu is a traditional belief system, not a scientific claim. Iconik Canvas describes what each painting shows and where it is traditionally placed, and does not promise outcomes such as luck, wealth or health.

Common Vastu painting themes

Seven running horses: Traditionally associated with speed, momentum and ambition. The horses are shown mid-stride, which makes them a strong focal piece for a hall or office wall.

Waterfall: Flowing-water scenes are linked in Vastu guidance with calm and movement. This is the largest group in the collection, listed for living rooms, offices and hotel interiors.

Peacock: A recognisable Indian motif associated with grace and beauty. Iconik Canvas lists peacock paintings for the bedroom, living room and hotel decor.

Elephant and mandala: Elephants are traditionally associated with strength and stability. The Majestic Mandala Elephant adds detailed pattern to a plain wall.

Turtle: Associated in Vastu and Feng Shui traditions with longevity and steadiness.

Koi fish: A Feng Shui rather than Vastu motif, often chosen alongside Vastu pieces by buyers who follow both.

Shri Yantra: A geometric sacred diagram used in worship and meditation. It suits quiet corners and spiritual spaces.

Why Choose Vastu Paintings?

Themes that match rooms. Seven horses and elephant paintings suit a living room or hall. A peacock painting is listed for bedrooms. Waterfall scenes are listed for living rooms, offices and hotels. Choosing the theme first makes shortlisting much easier.

Familiar symbolism for Indian interiors. Elephants, mandalas, peacocks and yantras sit comfortably with wooden furniture, traditional textiles and minimalist sofas alike. The Waterfall Vastu canvas wall painting is a calm nature scene for living rooms and offices. The Peacock Vastu canvas painting for bedroom and home decoration adds colour and detail.

A choice of finish. Selected listings offer rolled canvas for local framing, stretched canvas that rests on nails without a frame, or floater frames with pre-attached hooks. The Framed Turtle Vastu canvas painting is one framed option.

Suitable for home and work. Product titles in this collection are written for living rooms, bedrooms, home offices and hotels. A vastu painting for office walls works best with calm subjects, such as a waterfall or the Majestic Mandala Elephant.

How to Choose the Right Vastu Painting

To pick the best Vastu paintings for your home, work through room, wall, colour and format in that order.

1. Room and wall direction. Traditional guidance differs between practitioners, so treat this table as a starting point and confirm with your Vastu consultant.

2. Wall size. A common design rule is to choose art about 55-75% of the width of the furniture beneath it. For example, a painting 4 ft wide spans about 62% of a 6.5 ft three-seater sofa. For a large vastu wall painting for a hall wider than 7 ft, consider hanging two or three paintings together. Check the size options on each product page.

3. Colour. Pick one accent colour in the painting and repeat it in cushions or curtains. Light walls let darker canvases stand out. Warm, indirect lighting suits most scenes.

4. Format and budget. Choose rolled canvas if you plan to frame locally. Choose stretched or framed pieces if you want something ready to hang. Prices vary by listing, so check the product page.
